Activities Integrating Math and Sciences Foundation

In order to aid parents and teachers in teaching children the important skills of math and science, the Activities Integrating Math and Sciences (AIMS) foundation was created. This non-profit foundation specializes in helping to teach students math and science through fun and educational activities. They offer a wide variety of tools that parents and teachers can use.

AIMS offers books to help students learn math and science. Problem solving books are available to help students solve some of the every day problems that are in the world by using their math skills and science knowledge. Some books are geared towards specific grade levels, while others are just for educational fun. AIMS also has other math books that teach kids different types of math problems and how to solve them. The science books offered cover all types of sciences from earth and physical science to chemistry and physics for all grade levels.

AIMS offers workshops that are available to teachers. These workshops give teachers ideas for hands on experiments that follow the particular state's curriculum standards. They also show teachers how to best utilize these activities in the classroom to make the learning experience even better for the students.

The AIMS website also offers many math and science resources for teachers to use with their students. For math, they offer materials that help the teacher teach math rules to their students. These include teaching skills like money skills, Algebra, Geometry, and fractions. The science area offers many different items that are useful for science experiments and teaching students about the basics of science. Microscopes, lab equipment, and measurement devices are available.
